OncoStudio was certified as a medical device by the Korean company Oncosoft in February 2022 and is currently being used in approximately 30 major hospitals in Korea. In radiation therapy planning, accurate organ contouring is extremely important. This program utilizes AI based on deep learning algorithms to automatically extract organ contours from patient CT images with high speed and precision.

It enables rapid automatic processing from importing CT images to exporting them to treatment planning systems. OncoStudio received second place in last year’s JASTRO AI Auto Contouring Trial, and its technological capabilities have been recognized in Japan as well.

One of our ongoing research themes is the development of a method to automatically extract tumor contours by building a large-scale machine learning model that combines textual descriptions of tumor characteristics with patient images.
