Dynamic Chest Tracking Phantom

Overview

Chest Phantom for motion tracking AZ-M2 is composed of bones, pulmonary blood vessels, and a simulated tumor that resemble the human body. The moving part provides three independent movements, and by moving the pulmonary blood vessels, the simulated tumor, and the body surface unit, it can be used for simulation, analysis, and evaluation of dynamic tracking radiation therapy.

Simulated Tumor and Pulmonary Vessel Movement 01

Simulated tumor and pulmonary vessel movement is driven by sine waves.

Simulated Tumor and Pulmonary Vessel Movement 02

The simulated tumor is driven by COS6 waves, while the pulmonary blood vessels are driven by sine waves.

body surface movement

The body surface unit is operated using cos4.

Features

  • The respiratory movements of the lung tumor, pulmonary blood vessels, and body surface unit can be operated independently.
  • Can be operated with a general-purpose PC or tablet (operated by Wi-Fi), so no communication cables are required.
  • Respiratory movements can be input with fixed waveforms (sine, cos4, cos6, triangular waves) and arbitrary waveforms (AZ-733VI).
    • Sub-millimeter accuracy of ±25mm.
    • Programs can be set with different cycles, amplitudes, and waveforms.
    • Programs can input respiratory movements using CSV files.
